A quadraphonic sound score created for Linda K. Johnson's exhibition The Evidence of Foot Fall, part of the Converge45 Triennial. Documents, photos, maps and physical materials will activate a personal dance archive throughout multiple spaces. In the back, a black box room will contain an installation with a long-form looping audio environment and a series of solo performances in the round.

Audio sources draw entirely (and only) from the archives — field recordings, monologues, radio stories, astrological readings, and sound scores (including my own from almost 20 years ago). The installed soundscape will transform these materials, expanding them in time and space: sound as weather and memory, shifting softly through the room. An additional layer will join Linda's 25-minute solo performances, a collage of historical voices and moments, marking out present time, embedded within an ongoing environment.
